Taru Kavonius joins Seele as a new consultant

Seele is taking a small but meaningful step forward: our first Talent Partner, Taru, is joining the team.

Until now, Seele has been built largely around the expertise of its founder. From the beginning, however, the goal has been to build a company where knowledge and capability do not depend on one person alone, and where the right people can be brought together around each client project as needed.

Taru will support Seele especially in recruitment projects, candidate communication, sourcing and hands-on project work. At the same time, she will continue developing her own expertise in recruitment and direct search.

Taru does not come from a traditional recruitment background, and that is one of the reasons we wanted her on the team.

Her background combines business leadership, client work, the arts and cultural sector, and studies in the history and theory of contemporary art. She also brings qualities that cannot be taught from a textbook: the ability to connect with people, curiosity, good judgement and a strong sense of ownership.

For us, a Talent Partner is not simply someone who is handed a list of tasks. The role is designed to grow with experience, gradually bringing more responsibility for client projects and their outcomes. Taru joining the team also reflects the direction in which we are building Seele.

We are not aiming to grow as quickly as possible or build a heavy organisation for the sake of growth. We want to build a small, highly capable team that can be deployed flexibly across recruitment, direct search and talent acquisition projects in Finland and internationally.

Bringing in our first Talent Partner may be a small step in the bigger picture. For Seele, however, it feels like a significant one.

Welcome to the team, Taru 🤗
